Fire Extinguisher Sales and Service
Centratech offers Amerex Fire Extinguishers as our main line, but service and sell all makes and sizes of extinguishers. We have state of the art hydro-testing, discharging, and recharging equipment for the servicing of all types of extinguishers. We also carry an extensive inventory of spare parts and a large supply of dry chemical for the servicing and recharging of portable fire extinguishers
Fire Alarm Inspection and Repair
We have qualified fire alarm technicians to complete annual inspections for your building fire alarms. We also provide emergency lighting inspections at the same time as the fire alarm inspection. Complete reports and certificates are provided upon completion of the inspections.
Sprinkler Systems
We have qualified fire alarm and sprinkler technicians to complete annual inspections for your building fire alarms and sprinkler systems. We also provide emergency lighting inspections at the same time as the fire alarm inspection. Complete reports and certificates are provided upon completion of the inspections.
Fire Suppression Systems
Centratech is involved in the servicing and recharging of many different types of fire suppression systems. We distribute Rangeguard and Amerex wet chemical systems for restaurants. We also install, maintain and recharge many different makes of off road and industrial systems (Kidde, Ansul, Amerex).
Breathing Air
Centratech is capable of meeting all your compressed air requirements from SABA/SCBA /SCUBA cylinders to large industrial cylinders for air, nitrogen, and carbon dioxide. We operate a large stationary compressor in our shop and have portable compressors available for recharging and rental in the field.
Breathing Apparatus
Centratech is capable of servicing many makes and models of breathing apparatus. All work is done by qualified technicians, from flow testing and repairs to the proper cleaning of apparatus. We also maintain a number of self contained and supplied air breathing apparatus for rental. Should your apparatus require a repair beyond our training we will then send the apparatus out to a certified repair centre for an estimate for your approval.
Breathing Air Compressors
Centratech is factory certified to maintain and repair Bauer and Jordair breathing air compressors. We offer regular servicing and repair of all the different models and makes of compressors in the field. We also carry an inventory of spare parts and filters for all makes of compressors. We offer rental units for use in the field and the sale of both new and used compressors. We can also sample your compressor and provide a complete air analysis as per the CSA standards every six months
Gas Detection
Centratech offers a full line of personal and portable gas detection for sale and rental. We also service and calibrate most makes of gas detection. From single gas to multi gas personal monitors, to 4 channel single gas and 8 channel dual gas monitors (wireless or hardwire). All systems are serviced and maintained at our facility.
HydroStatic Testing
Our computerized test station is capable of testing cylinders up to 10,000 psi, and up to four cylinders at a time. We produce a printed copy of the records at the customer’s request. Centratech normally offers a two day turnaround on the hydro testing of cylinders, and can test any type of TC regulated cylinders. We also perform EDDY current testing of all aluminium cylinder neck threads to verify their integrity.
Back Flow Testing and Repair
We have three technicians that have completed their backflow prevention testing and repair course. They are certified to test all types of backflow devices and can also repair the units if need be.
Fit Testing
We are set up to fit test personnel for all types of SCBA, SABA, and face piece respirators. Our company uses the quantitative fit testing method with the Porta Count testing system.
